The Marketing Department within BYD Europe is responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the European region, and create comprehensive plans that resonate with the European target audience. Our team works collaboratively to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.
As Digital marketing specialist (web+email) (Position) you will:
As a digital marketing specialist, you will be at the forefront of crafting our online presence, ensuring it's both captivating and effective. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and make a difference by enhancing our website and email marketing strategies. Your insights and ideas will play a crucial role in delivering seamless and engaging digital experiences to our audience.
Responsibilities:
Website management:
- Work closely with key stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of website requirements and objectives, then transform these business needs into clear and actionable briefs for our development team;
- Manage a prioritized backlog of website tasks and work in tandem with the website team to ensure timely execution;
- Team up with cross-functional colleagues to create effective web user journey to maximize digital impact;
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
Website analytics:
- Monitor website and email analytics to assess the effectiveness of digital initiatives;
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
Email marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing strategies in line with the company's goals;
- Create engaging and personalized email campaigns to nurture leads and retain customers;
- Segment email lists and target specific audience groups for better results;
- Track and analyze email campaign performance, and provide recommendations for improvements;
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices.
Key Results:
- Enhance website performance (website traffic, bounce rate…)
- Maximize user engagement and conversions (Newsletter signups, leads generation and develop new actions to booster conversion.)
- Develop and optimize email marketing strategies.
Your profile:
- Master’s Degree in marketing, web development, or a related field;
- 1-3 years of experience as an international webmaster, preferably in the automotive industry;
- Excellent communicator in English is mandatory (Mandarin Chinese and other European languages would be a plus);
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic graphic design is a plus;
- Creative and detail-oriented with a focus on user experience;
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
- Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills;
- Resilient and open minded;
- Results oriented. Ability to work to deadlines, hands on approach, motivated to get results;
