We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to be part of our After sales team, based in Hounslow BYD London Office, and will be required to travel.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, chat, or in person (depending on the role).
- Effectively listen to customer concerns.
- Research and resolve customer issues efficiently, utilising company knowledge base and resources.
- Provide accurate and helpful information regarding our products or services.
- Process customer feedback.
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Escalate complex issues to senior representatives when necessary.
- Proactively identify and suggest solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Always maintain a positive and professional demeanour.
- Assist your colleagues in their roles when required and possible.
- Liaise with the workshop team to keep customers informed on progress
- Creating job cards for the workshop and engineers
- Complete daily and weekly spreadsheets.
Your profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport and develop positive relationships with customers.
- Active listening skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) a plus.
- Experience with a CRM system (Customer Relationship Management) preferred.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Has right-to-work in the UK.
