We are looking for an electric car passionate to become Senior Planning Specialist joining our BYD Nordic team, based in Sweden Malmo, collaborating directly BYD Europe and our dealer network. It is a very exciting time to join our team. The position will play an important role in supporting the growth of Passenger Cars in the Nordic market.
The Senior Planning Specialist will report directly to the Nordic operation manager inside the Operations team of the BYD Nordic team, and collaborate with BYD Europe’s planning & commerce department, being responsible for supporting sales success and planning the future. The position is committed to tasks such as demand forecasting, production factory docking and distribution plan.
The mission is to ensure a smooth process of supplying BYD products, provide customers with efficient and reliable services, and provide strategic support for the company's business development.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and plan the car ordering information of the market and coordinate the processing of orders and changes.
Coordination and follow-up of vehicle dispatch for dealers’ emergency orders.
- Monthly review and feedback on the market status, tasks completion status, and fine-tune and coordinate the task volume.
- Connect with the product management area to output a 3-month rolling demand for regular models to the planning department for production and material preparation.
- Coordinate the production of various models and coordinate the handling of demand changes and production capacity abnormalities.
- Manage and control new car launches and distribution and follow up on car launches; coordinate and process switching and discontinued models, and clearance orders for old models.
- Coordination and follow-up of vehicle dispatch for dealers’ emergency orders.
According to business needs, complete the work tasks and goals assigned by the leadership to ensure the orderly development of related work.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- Minimum Bachelor level in Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, or relevant background.
- At least 3 years’ experience in demand planning or similar roles.
- Experience in the automotive sector as an advantage.
- Attention to details and ability to perform tasks efficiently in a dynamic working environment.
- Fluency in English and one of the Nordic language( Swedish/Dannish/Finnish etc)
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS/OMS software, and an advanced level of Excel would be an advantage.
- Effective communicator and team player.
