About the role:
Our Senior Accountant is your trusted partner in financial management, ensuring that your financial strategy is not only compliant but optimized for growth. They excel in:
Precise calculation, declaration, and timely payment of a wide range of taxes.
Proficiently collecting and efficiently filing essential documents, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Staying ahead of the curve by gaining deep insights into the ever-evolving local accounting and tax standards in Hungary.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and perform the financial-accounting activity of the company in accordance with the legal provisions in force, internal rules and Group policies (including set up of internal processes, systems and controls).
- Perform full accounting, ensure payroll and tax compliance in cooperation with the external consultants.
- Review and analyze monthly results during each closing to ensure accuracy of reported Trial Balance in coordination
- Ensure quality information is available for the Auditors that reconciles
- Checking incoming and outgoing invoices and book the AP and AR invoices.
- Supporting and coordinating internal and external accounting ,audit process.
Your profile:
- Bachelor degree or above;
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the field of accounting either at a multinational company or in Audit services
- Good understanding of IFRS or US-GAAP accounting standards
- Basic knowledge of Taxation and Transfer pricing principles.
- Strong analytical and IT skills (preferable SAP, ERP, MS-Office)
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks;
- Self-motivated, responsible, independent;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proficient in using Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
- Fluent in English. Being able to speak Chinese and/or Hungarian is a plus
