About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Act as the oversea window person for R&D center and responsible for the coordination of technical support；
- Responsible for the field quality of overseas cars models, take the lead to coordinate the analysis and elimination for the failures & complaints；
- Take charge of overseas related requirements input management and ensure the conformity in project phases, participate the development activities of overseas projects；
- Participate to build up and continually improve the development process & procedure for overseas projects；
- Participate the cross-function coordination throughout the project phases as quality role；
- The other project quality related task required by the team leader.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree and above in mechanics, electronics, engineering or quality management；
- Proven experience in automotive industry or quality management for at least 3 years；
- Language: Fluent business English(Chinese is a plus)；
- Willing to occasional business traveling(mainly including Europe and China)；
- European driving license；
- Passionate about New Energy Vehicles Industry;
- Self-motivated but also an active team player;
- Excellent communication skills and strong ability for coordination;
- Interested in new energy auto industry.
