About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- To research the development trend of local passenger cars and LCV market in Europe;
- Responsible for mining and researching of local user demands and usage habits;
- Responsible for the analysis of local competitive products and competition pattern;
- To cooperate and match with the development requirements of domestic overseas models, organize local market research;
- Responsible for the analysis and investigation of the application and development trend of local vehicle configuration
Your profile:
- Full time bachelor’s degree or above, marketing or vehicle engineering majored is preferred;
- Excellent reading and communication skills in English. Pass the IELTS (International English Language Test Systems) test, overseas study or overseas work experience is preferred;
- At least 1-3 years in market research or research related experience in passenger car OEMs;
- Be sensitive to market and data, familiar with passenger car research contents, methods and process;
- Familiar with common office software;
- Passionate about New Energy Vehicles Industry;
- Self-motivated but also an active team player;
- Good coordination and communication skills, excellent teamwork and strong sense of responsibility.
