About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for the performance investigation;
- Responsible for testing of the vehicle's power economy;
- Endurance mileage under different working conditions, road conditions and environments overseas;
- Simultaneously analyze whether the vehicle performance meets the needs of customers and provide effective solutions;
- Other tasks.
Your profile:
- Have certain work experience in dynamic matching and pure electric cruising range calibration;
- Familiar with the working characteristics of related components of electric vehicle high-voltage system;
- Understand the basic principles of automobile theory;
- Able to use CAN bus tools to test and match;
- Fluent in English.
