About the Department
The Planning & Commerce department plays a vital role in BYD's supply chain system. We focus on tasks including demand forecasting, coordinating with production facilities, aligning with the Nordic market, and developing distribution plans. Our mission is to streamline the journey from manufacturing to delivery of BYD products, ensuring efficient and reliable customer service, while also providing strategic support for the company's global business growth.
Key responsibilities:
• Monthly 3+3 forecast data collection and issue analysis
• Gather sales demands and confirm purchase orders from all markets
• Track vehicle status after arrival at port
• Monitor delivery progress in each market, including vehicle registration data
• Generate PI based on market applications
• Manage purchase order paybacks from dealerships
• Develop delivery plans aligned with vehicle demand in POs and expected payback dates
• Conduct data analysis using Excel
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in demand planning or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish (Finnish, Danish or Chinese is a plus).
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS/OMS software; advanced Excel skills are highly beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player
