About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Marketing Event Intern to support our marketing team in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that promote our brand and engage our target audience. This role offers hands-on experience in event management, marketing strategies, and digital promotion, providing you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of marketing events, including product launches, trade shows, workshops, and other national events.
- Logistics Coordination: Help manage event logistics such as venue booking, equipment setup, catering, and transportation.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotional materials, including invitations, flyers, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Vendor Management: Communicate and coordinate with external vendors, including suppliers, designers, and event agencies.
- On-Site Event Support: Provide on-site assistance during events, such as registration, attendee management, and setup/teardown.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Help collect feedback and data from event attendees, assist in creating post-event reports, and analyze the success of events based on key metrics (e.g., attendance, engagement).
- Social Media & Content: Assist with creating content and posting updates on social media platforms before, during, and after events to drive engagement.
- Budget Tracking: Support in tracking and managing event budgets, ensuring all costs are monitored and within the set limits.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks such as preparing documents, maintaining contact lists, and tracking RSVPs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a master degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a creative problem-solving attitude.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours during event days.
