Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced EHS Engineer to join our team in Manisa. As a professional EHS engineer, you will lead BYD's Turkiye factory in creating an EHS internal management system and supervise the implementation of all production departments. The compliance procedures of safety and environmental management during the construction process of BYD's Turkiye factory require your participation and support.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Keep EHS compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant EHS legal/regulatory requirements and with EHS policy and performance requirements.
- Assist in handling government approval procedures related to safety and the environment.
- Assist in maintaining and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and management programs.
- Responsible for planning and organizing weekly/monthly regular EHS audits, inspections, and follow-ups to improve non-conformities.
- Ensure that regular inspections and risk assessments are carried out/recorded/ completed.
- Other work assigned by Supervisor.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
