Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior HR Specialist to join our team in Istanbul. This role will be focused on compensation and benefits, performance management, compliance, and policy development. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a thorough understanding of HR frameworks, and the ability to manage complex HR processes. This position is crucial for ensuring that our HR practices are competitive, fair, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and manage compensation structures to attract and retain talent.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pay practices.
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and processes.
- Guide managers in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
- Provide coaching and support to employees and managers to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Monitor changes in legislation and update HR policies and procedures accordingly.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure adherence to legal and company standards.
- Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Communicate HR policies to staff and ensure understanding and adherence.
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR policies with business strategy.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
- Identify trends and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with a focus on compensation, performance management, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Turkish labor laws and international HR practices.
- Proven experience in policy development and implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English and Turkish. Chinese language skill is a must.
