About the role
In order to enable the strong growth of our company, BYD Europe is looking for an HR Intern to join our young, international team with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude.
As a HR intern you support the Overseas HR Department and perform a variety of tasks in the field of general and various functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining local sick leave, reimbursement, and holiday systems.
- Aid in tracking candidate onboarding preparation materials.
- Support coordination of new employee training and progress tracking.
- Assist in arranging candidate interviews and recording meeting minutes.
- Provide assistance in processing employee work visas and transfers.
- Help maintain various progress tracking sheets related to HR functions.
- Support processing of employee tax benefits.
- Assist in managing local and traveling employee access control systems.
- Aid in monthly collection and compilation of company suggestion box feedback.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn HRIS software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience or coursework in HR is a plus, but not required.
- Fluent English, Chinese or Dutch is a plus.
- EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa and CAN sign tri-party intern agreement).
