About the Department:

EU CV Aftersales team is responsible for EU tenders preparation and management from the aftersales perspective, including warranty, LCC, full service quotation and finance date analysis.

As the Tender Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving success within the aftersales tender department. 

You will be responsible for:

Tender Management:

  • Analyze tender documentation, thoroughly reviewing technical specifications, commercial terms, and contractual conditions. 
  • Oversee the tender administration process, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks associated with tender requirements, proactively mitigating them to safeguard the Aftersales department's interests.

Project Management and Collaboration:

  • Enhance team efficiency by organizing and facilitating weekly meetings, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
  • Lead the standardization of tender working procedures, ensuring consistency and clarity across projects.

Proposal Development and Communication:

  • Complete Life Cycle Cost (LCC) calculations, meticulously collecting and analyzing relevant data.
  • Actively communicate and collaborate with the Sales & Tender team, keeping them informed of project progress.
  • Organize project meetings, driving team alignment and facilitating effective decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports and assist with the submission of necessary documents.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Champion continuous process improvement within the tender department, seeking opportunities to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to collect customer feedback, analyze trends, and summarize customer requirements to inform future tender strategies.
  • This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical individual with strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tender management within the automotive industry (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience organizing meetings, managing deadlines, and tracking progress.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring compliance with tender procedures and contractual terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of LCC (Life Cycle Cost) calculations.
  • Customer-oriented approach, with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Must speak English and Mandarin; another European language would be a plus.
