About the Job
The Store Designer / Design Engineer is a design, target-driven, and marketing professional, who will take full responsibility to make the dealership store C.I. standard and store audit in European markets in accordance with BYD branding positioning and company culture. He or she will report to the Store Design Leader BYD Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Interior store design and furniture design in mainly 3D and 2D CAD.
- Be responsible for all aspects of BYD store CI design including exterior and interior decoration, visual merchandising and window display, etc. and will report to the Store Design Leader EU.
- To retain the brand visual implement and maintain brand visual merchandise guidelines and directives
- Create CI standards manual, routinely review and update content as needed, and monitor CI standards and execution in stores.
- Sales Support: work with the sales team to support the BYD CI guidelines and plan for new store development projects. Other active support to store events & sales campaign.

Required skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Educational background: Interior Design, Architecture or Industrial Design.
- 3-5 years of working experience in retail design or interior design. (Experience in the automotive industry is a plus).
- CAD: 3ds MAX, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Rendering (or equivalent 3D CAD experience), photoshop.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
- Resilient and open-minded, results-orientated.
- Excellent English language skills (Other European languages would be a plus)
