About the role
The Store Designer UK is a design, target-driven, and marketing professional, who will take full responsibility to make the dealership store C.I. standard in the UK market in accordance with BYD branding positioning and company culture. He or she will report to the Head of Network Development UK and the Store Design Leader BYD Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Interior store design and furniture design 3D CAD and in 2D CAD.
- Be responsible for all aspects of BYD store CI design including exterior and interior decoration, visual merchandising and window display, etc.
- To retain the brand visual implement and maintain brand visual merchandise guidelines and directives
- Follow CI standards manual and monitor CI standards and execution in stores aligned with the UK Country PM, Head of Network Development UK and the Store Design Leader EU.
- Other active support to store events & sales campaign

Required skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Educational background: Interior Design, Architecture or Industrial Design.
- 3-5 years of working experience in retail design or interior design. (Experience in the automotive industry is a plus).
- CAD: 3ds MAX, Sketchup, AutoCAD, V-ray Rendering (or equivalent 3D CAD experience), photoshop.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
- Resilient and open-minded, results-orientated.
- Excellent English language skills (Other European languages would be a plus)

- Business trips in the UK and willing to travel between Hoofddorp HQ and London HQ.
- Proficiency in creating detailed shop drawings that accurately represent the design intent, materials, dimensions, and construction details.
• Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and best practices for shop drawing production.
• Skill in creating detailed site sections, elevations, and construction details to communicate site-specific design solutions.
