Sales Support Specialist - Passenger Cars

About the role:

Location: Hounslow/Uxbridge, London

The Sales Support Specialist will provide a vital link between a rapidly growing Retailer Network and all of the internal departments facilitating communication, analysing sales data and assisting with customer care. This role will also provide support to the team of Regional Sales Managers in the form of data collection and analysis, to identify areas of improvement at an individual retailer, group, regional or national level. Further support will be provided to other internal departments through collection of data from the Network to shape and define future actions.

    Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

    • The Sales Support team is the ‘first point of contact’ for the Network when trying to resolve issues affecting sales or customer experience.
    • Build and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels of the Retailer, including General Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Sales Administrators.
    • Take responsibility for ensuring that any customer care issues that may arise are managed efficiently and with the best possible outcome for the customer.
    • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal departments to ensure all communications with the Network are effective, any issues can be resolved efficiently, and improvement opportunities are acted upon.
    • Collect and analyse sales activity data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to track performance and to suggest improvements in the sales process.
    • Collect and analysis Lead management data to ensure the customer journey is efficient and effective.
    • Monitor and analyse vehicle stock at a national and retailer level to ensure available stock matches to the sales rate required.
    • Produce regular reporting on variable margin and other sales programmes and ensure payments due to retailers are processed efficiently.
    • Provide support to Regional Sales Managers in the form of data and reporting to assist with identifying priorities for improvement in sales and customer experience. Assist with creating presentations and reports for regular or ad hoc meetings at a Retailer or Group level.
    • Collect data and feedback from the Network to assist other internal departments with their strategic decision making ie. Performance of marketing campaigns, commercial offers, training programmes, customer feedback on product etc.

        Required skills, qualifications and experience

        • Good time management and organizational skills
        • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
        • Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems
        • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
        • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
        • Analytical and multitasking skills
        • Ability to work well as part of a team but also be able to make decisions and complete tasks independently
        • Ability to travel to retailers when required for specific meetings, to gain experience or to build relationships. 
        • Has right-to-work in the U.K.
