We are looking for a General Assistant to be part of our Aftersales department, based in Hounslow BYD London Office, and will be required to travel.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling travel arrangements.
- Process and prioritize incoming emails, phone calls, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff or handling them independently.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Maintain and organize filing systems (digital and/or physical)
- Manage inventory and supplies, ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, taking minutes and ensuring action items are tracked.
- Manage travel logistics (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Has right-to-work in the U.K.
