About the role:
As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within our Center of Excellence (COE) team, responsible for overseeing employee care and relations in European countries. You will collaborate with HR teams, department heads, and local teams to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an overarching employee care strategy and policies for Europe. Work closely with HR teams in different countries to provide country-specific guidelines, understand local dynamics, and tailor employee care initiatives accordingly.
- Implement team-building activities, events, employee birthdays, work anniversaries, and other celebrations for employees in Netherlands offices.
- Collaborate with HR teams in other European countries to ensure successful execution and track program effectiveness.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to care and relations matters. Develop communication strategies to keep employees informed about upcoming events, initiatives, and policies.
- Establish key evaluation metrics for employee relations and care initiatives. Generate regular reports to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure alignment with company values, company policies, local cultures, local regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the Chinese and English language.
- At least 3 years experience in employee relations, preferably in a multinational environment.
- In-depth knowledge of European employment laws and cultural nuances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
