Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

As Talent Acquisition Specialist you will build a motivated, well balanced and multicultural work force to grow the BYD business in Europe.

In this role you will lead recruitment projects with partners from various business units (electrical buses, forklifts, trucks and passenger cars) and countries.

You are energetic, highly organized and interested in electrical mobility.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill company talent needs – marketing, R&D, finance, legal, purchase, IT, operation – and aligned with the business strategy.
  • Handle full cycle recruitment process from talent planning till negotiating the offer and employee onboarding.
  • Prepare and coordinate yearly recruitment planning, gather data from hiring managers and plan recruitment budget.
  • Coach hiring managers in interviewing and recruitment best practices.
  • Provide inclusive and positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct research about various local and cross border recruitment channels and market trends. Based on the research, set up recruitments strategies for new markets such as Greece, Poland, Romania, Austria, etc.
  • Develop relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure best customer experience.
  • Serve as a liaison with employment agencies, recruitment agencies, universities, students organizations, industry associations.
  • Plan and execute employee onboarding sessions online and in person.
  • Update and analyze recruitment data, introduce and implement new practices based on the analyzed data.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of other HR projects based on your strengths and interests (policy development, employer branding, learning & development, process automation, etc.).

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

  • 3 years of working experience in recruitment.
  • Experience in proactive candidate sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, Social media and other channels.
  • Education in HR, Business administration, Organizational psychology or another related field.
  • Excellent English language skills, Chinese is a plus.
  • Very good organization skills and accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Very good listening and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus – you enjoy helping people.
  • Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Problem solving skills in an HR setting.
  • Recruitment experience in automotive or electrical mobility sector will be an advantage.
  • Project management experience will be an asset.
