Job Overview:
We are seeking three Financial Specialists with junior experience (less than 2 years full-time experience or fresh graduate) to join our finance team in Istanbul, Turkey. Each specialist will focus on a distinct area of finance and accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The positions available include:
- Financial Accountant (Finance & Treasury)
- Financial Accountant (Tax Accounting)
- General Ledger Accountant (AR & AP, Account Processing, Reconciliation, and Reporting Analysis)
Position 1: Financial Accountant (Finance & Treasury)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall financial and treasury activities for the Turkey sales business.
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity management, and foreign exchange transactions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Position 2: Financial Accountant (Tax Accounting)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tax accounting and compliance for passenger car sales operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with local tax laws.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with corporate tax policies.
- Work closely with tax authorities and external auditors.
- Monitor tax risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support internal teams with tax-related queries and reporting.
Position 3: General Ledger Accountant (AR & AP, Account Processing, Reconciliation, and Reporting Analysis)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
- Support decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Work closely with internal departments to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- less than 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, or general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Experience with financial systems, ERP software, and tax compliance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
