About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Production Equipment Project Manager to join our Auto manufacturing division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track site infrastructure drawings and construction progress, report quality or progress discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Lead machinery commissioning projects, including planning and setting management goals.
- Oversee permitting procedures and risk management in collaboration with technical supervisors and equipment suppliers.
- Coordinate with authorities and third parties to resolve construction-related issues and optimize project benefits.
- Ensure machinery and process compliance by maintaining close communication with technical supervisors through meetings and reports.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in production equipment project management.
- Strong ability to manage technical projects, including installation and commissioning.
- Experience in coordinating with regulatory authorities and third parties.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a structured and proactive mindset.
