About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Planning specialist to join our Auto manufacturing division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and coordinate the production plan for passenger vehicles, ensuring the achievement of production targets.
- Create the body production plan, issue and track the general assembly schedule, and drive the accomplishment of production goals.
- Review, issue, and track special order contracts to ensure timely order deliveries.
- Develop and follow up on trial production plans for new models and model upgrades to ensure on-time project launches.
- Analyze inventory data for complete vehicles, bodies, and key outsourced components, reducing obsolete materials and optimizing inventory management.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
