About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Production Manager to join our Auto manufacturing division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall management of the production department, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Supervise and enforce workshop safety regulations, including fire protection and occupational safety measures.
- Lead production meetings, address quality issues, and implement process improvements.
- Optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency through effective resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with 5S management principles and maintain a well-organized production environment.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in workshop and production management, including personnel and equipment handling.
- Proficiency in office automation software and production management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in quality control, process optimization, and cost reduction strategies.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
