About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for the writing of OTA project plan, implementation plan and other related documents for overseas server stations;
- Responsible for overseas OTA management;
- Responsible for release review, release strategy management and execution plan. Follow up after sales problem feedback and formulate;
- Responsible for communication with headquarters;
- Assist overseas server operation.
Your profile:
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit;
- Master server operation and proficient in Linux, Docker and Kubernetes, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat and so on;
- Proficiency in Chinese is preferred;
- Experience in diagnosis and writing is preferred;
- Passionate about New Energy Vehicles Industry;
- Self-motivated but also an active team player;
- Knowledge of automotive industry diagnostic protocols (ISO14229、ISO15765、DolP、ODX，Ethernet) is preferred;
- Good command of written and communication English is preferred.
