Role Overview
As an International Key Account Manager for trucks and vans , you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key international fleet customers and logistics providers. You will play a crucial role in growing BYD’s presence in the commercial vehicle market, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales performance across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies for major fleet operators and key customers in the truck and van segment.
- Identify and acquire new international accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and aftersales, to align customer needs with BYD’s offerings.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive business development initiatives.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to senior management.
- Represent BYD at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Automotive, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in key account management, B2B sales, or business development within the commercial vehicle, logistics, or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of the truck and van market, particularly in electric vehicles and fleet operations.
- Proven track record of managing international accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and travel internationally as required.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
