About the Role:

Join BYD UK, a global leader in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility solutions, as a Sales Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing sales operations across the UK by leveraging data insights, automating reporting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Tasks & Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collect, clean, and maintain data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Improve and automate manual reporting processes, primarily using Microsoft Excel and related tools.
  • Build and maintain intuitive dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Partner with teams across marketing, sales, logistics, product development, and finance to meet data needs and support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor data to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Any other reasonable duties assigned by management and line manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, data analytics, marketing, automotive management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales management, data analysis, or business operations, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in analysing market trends, competitor landscapes, and sales processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, macros, VBA) and experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving problems and identifying opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Adaptable and results-driven in a fast-paced environment.
