BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Vehicle safety performance and Euro NCAP-specific development on European models;
- Organize, plan, and communicate with NCAP and related tests;
- Track and interpret the European safety-related standards and regulations;
- Collect and analyze safety-related traffic accident data;
- Other tasks may related to the field.
Your profile:
- Familiar with vehicle structure and related development;
- Familiar with the safety-related standards and regulations;
- Ability to plan, prioritize and conduct research practices in an agile way.
- Passionate about New Energy Vehicles Industry;
- Self-motivated but also an active team player;
- Fluent in English.
