About the role
In order to enable the strong growth of our company, BYD Europe is looking for an HR Specialist to join our young, international team with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude.
As a HR Specialist , you need to support the Overseas HR Department and perform a variety of tasks and support the buildup of Share Service Center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Overseas HR Department, contributing to the effective management of HR processes and policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, handling correspondence with candidates, and maintaining candidate databases.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties involved.
- Help manage HR documents (e.g., contracts, employment records) ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Contribute to the maintenance of HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Support the HR team in managing employee relations and addressing inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs that contribute to a positive work environment.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes during meetings.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems (HRIS or HRMS) and proficient in MS Office.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to an international work environment.
