About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Senior Market Research Specialist to join our President office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Analysis
- Internal and External Coordination & Other Tasks
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with various internal departments and ensure project or work tasks progress smoothly.
- Support Tasks: Complete additional tasks as requested by leader, ensuring all the tasks assigned are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Market Research: Market field, discussion with dealers to collect first-hand market information.

Data Collection & Organization: Use various online platforms and internal/external systems to collect and organize various market information.

Data Integration & Opportunity Analysis: Integrate multi-channel data sources to analyze the opportunities for different products and markets.

Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on the market situation, reflecting real-time market conditions and explaining the reasons for sales fluctuations.

Dealer Operation Evaluation: Collect and organize dealer data, assess the materials submitted by dealers, and ensure they meet the company’s standards.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Languages: Proficient in Chinese and English. Knowledge of an additional European language (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian) is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL. Knowledge of data analysis software such as SPSS and KNIME is preferred.
