Sales Specialist (Automotive)

About the role:

The Sales Department serves as the linchpin in linking our products/services with customer needs. Its’ mission revolves around surpassing expectations, achieving sales targets, and fostering enduring relationships. From conducting market research to engaging customers and developing strategic initiatives, the department is dedicated to excellence and sustained growth.

As a Sales Specialist you will be responsible for the Irish market, and will work closely with departments like marketing, planning and other departments in the Netherlands. Occasional travel to Ireland will be necessary for this role.

Responsibilities:

Dealer Support:

  • Act as a liaison between the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and authorized dealerships.
  • Provide support to dealers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating communication.

Sales Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating sales activities between the OEM and dealerships.
  • Ensure timely delivery of product information, pricing updates, and promotional materials.

Order Processing:

  • Manage and process dealer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with OEM policies.
  • Work closely with the logistics and distribution teams to track and fulfill orders.
  • Provide educational materials and support to enhance dealer product knowledge.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
  • Compile and analyze sales data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of dealer communications, transactions, and feedback.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key dealership personnel.
  • Act as a point of contact for dealer inquiries and concerns.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, finance, and product development.
  • Communicate dealer feedback and market insights to relevant internal stakeholders.


Your profile:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in OEM support, automotive sales coordination, or a related role is advantageous.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with dealers and internal teams.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

Customer Focus:

  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on dealer satisfaction.
  • Ability to address dealer needs and concerns in a timely manner.

Organizational Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Team Collaboration:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to contribute to the success of the OEM sales strategy.
