About the Role:
- Ordering, modifying and maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment to factory.
- Communicating on special orders requirements incl. cost and feasibility/availability.
- Communicating on product change, discontinuation, and new options.
- Update production planning, lead time and order status.
- Maintaining product features, prices and order status in ordering system both offline and online database.
- Using SAP to generate PO and receive goods.
- Coordinating with factory and freight forwarder about container booking, shipping and notice of arrival.
- Communication and implementation of improvements on packaging and loading plan with factory.
- Pre-advice and ASN to warehouse for goods inbound.
- On-site check of new arrivals in port and in warehouse where required.
- Maintaining and updating internal purchase price.
- Documentation of purchase/Freight related files.
- Providing support to the administration tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Involvement in local procurement of for complete forklift operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing Forklift orders with factories.
- Updating factory order status and production planning.
- Managing shipments of orders from factory in China to Distribution Center in Europe.
- Maintaining internal purchase cost and commercial agreements with factory in China.
- Optimizing and maintaining the data of shipment data and order management.
- Optimizing shipping solution from China to Europe.
- Shipment inbound control.
- Warehouse inbound process improvements.
- Local procurement for complete forklift operations.
- Handling and cooperating with finance of all procurement invoices.
- Administration work assigned by the supervisor.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Bachelor/HBO degree in related field like supply chain or international business.
- 1-2 years of experience in cooperate supply chain, international trading, or forwarding.
- Have in-depth understanding of international trading, is familiar with European importation and exportation, experience of dealing with 3PL logistics is preferable.
- Excellent abilities of planning and change management with an analytical mindset.
- Native level in Mandarin, and effective communication in English, both verbal and written. Other European language will be a big plus.
- Teamwork mentality towards various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to the warehouse if needed for onsite receiving.
- EU Driver’s license.
